1. Manage the design, development, implementation and maintenance of e-Business application.
2. Manage electronic data interchange, (EDI), and XML protocols with suppliers and customers.
3. Manage e-business initiatives, primarily driven through SharePoint and Public Sites.
4. Manage ERP information sharing through automation and data mapping.
5. Manage web-based systems, including SharePoint application development, to provide uninterrupted, scalable and flexible solutions consistent with business needs.
6. Interpret and align business requirements with “best in class technology” web based solutions including mobile technologies.
7. Coordinate on and off-shore web development vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective e-commerce solutions and services.
8. Developing and establish department standards, procedures and policies in line with BDI and external audit requirements.
9. Maintain effective communication with IT, Sales and Operations as well as across the organization to ensure that e-Business requirements are met.
10. Select, develop and motivate staff to effectively carry out department functions; while providing continuity of specialized skills to maintain high-level intrinsic knowledge.
11. The applicant must be comfortable with travel.
12. Responsible for other duties as they are assigned.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Administration required.
At least 5-7 years experience within IT, e-business or operations with at least an additional 2 years experience managing projects and resources.
Strong organization skills, with coordination and management of multiple simultaneous projects under strictly controlled timelines and budget a must.
Demonstrate sound understanding of Web technologies and business practices, as well as hold a general understanding of web based solutions, underlying architecture and infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to be a self-motivated and an engaging participant while both leading and following in a high performance team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Experience with Endeca, SAP, and Hybris platforms preferred.
Experience in industrial distribution a plus.
Experience with multilingual and multicurrency e-commerce applications also a plus.
