G2 Filtration
The G2 Centrifuge is a highly efficient bypass filtration device for oil and water applications. Powered by fluid pressure alone, the centrifuge operates at speeds in excess of 6,000 rpm, generating a force more than 2,000 times greater than gravity. This force slings contaminants smaller than one micron out of your fluid and packs them into a dense cake on the wall of the Cleanable centrifuge bowl.
Operation
- Dirty oil flows through hollow spindle into rotating bowl under normal oil pump pressure.
- As oil passes through the rotating bowl, centrifugal force separates oil and solid contaminants.
- Contaminants are deposited as a solid cake on the surface the cleanable bowl.
- Clean oil exits through opposing, twin nozzles that power the centrifuge in excess of 6,000 rpm.
- Clean oil returns to the system from the level control base.
The G2 oil and water cleaning centrifuges are a practical solution to your filtration needs. An inexpensive G2 unit installs easily, operates with minimal maintenance and provides consistent protection against damaging particles down to one-tenth of a micron.
