Brushless DC Motors

BDI offers various Brushless Motors to reduce wear and maintenance, where in classic motors, the brushes eventually wear out and require costly replacement.

Brushless motors are typically 85-90% efficient, whereas DC motors with brushgear are typically 75-80% efficient.

Brushless DC Motors are commonly used where precise speed control is necessary.  The low inertia, coupled with high peak torque capacity, allows for quick accelerations and decelerations. They also offer advantages in applications requiring high speeds.
