Problem:
The conveyors found throughout the automotive industry utilize very special (a) Roller chain, (b) Flexon FlatTop Chain, and (c) Elite & JWIS Accumulation Chains. Identifying these chains and servicing the customer can be difficult but through BDI, iwis has been able to supply a wide variety of these products as direct OEM replacements.

Solution:
FLEXON Snap On Roller Chains
FLEXON Snap On roller chains consists of a straight or sideflexing roller chain produce from both carbon or 304-stainless steel. The pins on each side are slightly extended allowing a plastic flight to snap on, creating a flat surface to convey the products. The plastic can be LF-low friction, KV-kevlar, AS-antistatic, or PBT plastic. Caps that fit to a side flexing chain are tabbed to retain the chain as it travels through the corners.
ELITE & JWIS Accumulation Chains
Accumulation chain are typically produced from carbon or stainless steel and have a free spinnning oversized roller that allows product to be retained in place mechanically while the chain continues to move. Traditional accumulation chains have oversized rollers (either plastic or steel) in the center and is guided by two outboard rollers. These chains are available with finger and part protection to avoid potential pinch points. JWIS brand chains are available with staggered rollers for better product support and also as Maintenance Free, no-lube.
