Rexnord consolidates all open gears, chains, belts and gear boxes into one Planetgear package that is easy to maintain. The internal gear train components are isolated from external forces that can corrode and damage moving parts. State-of-the-art materials and processes provided hardened wear-resistent gearing. Planetgear handles heavy shock loads and uses standard sub-assemblies which allow fast gear ration changes in the field. They are easy to install with a coupling and require less room and fewer modifications to the base because of their in-line Planetary configuration.
